solstice sky

Winter has finally arrived. The days are short, the nights long and the woodfire goes around the clock. The sky put on a magnificent show for the June solstice, reminding me yet again the beauty that can be found in each season.

I think I've needed the reminder this year. With all the busyness that needs to be crammed into the shorter days, this sky came at the perfect time. Forcing the pause button to appreciate the moment we are in.

Stop, breathe, marvel.

The perfect pick me up.

  4. Wonderful photos - you must have a great camera. I tried to photograph an amazing sunset the other night with my old compact camera, which was a complete fail. I have the nice memory though. Thankyou for sharing.
